3D laser tracker and Easy Laser services. Alignment verification, quality control, dimensional inspection on-site. High precision measurement.
With our 3D Laser Tracker and Easy Laser, we perform measurement work for machine alignment, quality assurance of components, and reporting potential errors. Our measurements ensure fine tolerances and precise placements of reference points, holes, and other bores, as well as preparing the necessary documentation for suppliers. We deliver the results of our measurements in a measurement report, providing a solid basis for decision for the need for further machining of your components.
At CNC Onsite, we offer measurement work using Easy Laser and 3D Laser Tracker for tasks within wind, marine, offshore installations, and heavy industry sectors.
We utilize our Easy Laser for various measurement tasks, examining flanges for flatness and tilt in connection with the production of wind turbine towers, foundations, crane pedestals, and similar structures where very fine tolerances are required. The Easy Laser is used in our own mobile machining and for measurement tasks for our customers, who then assess whether further machining of their components is needed.
We provide 3D Laser Tracker for more complex tasks where measurements of larger components are necessary to ensure correct placement of holes, layout of reference points in production lines, and alignment of our own machines to ensure precision in our machining solutions.
Regardless of the scope of the task, we are ready to provide you with the necessary documentation to assure the quality of your components
The customer contacts CNC Onsite because documentation is required prior to an installation or quality assurance of a given component.
We pack our equipment and go on site to perform the measurement task
We conduct the measurement work and deliver a measurement report to the customer.
The customer receives the measurement report and uses it as a basis for deciding on potential further work. If our measurement work has detected errors on the components that require additional machining, the customer can decide whether to react based on the report
If the customer decides to take action based on the measurement report, we are ready to undertake the necessary machining of the components.
“Take for example an installation vessel that has had seafasteners made for towers or a crane vessel that need to install new cranes on existing flanges, and they’re unsure if these meet the necessary tolerances, we can perform the measurement work for them. If the quality is adequate, they can use the measurement report as documentation. If the tolerances need improvement, we can offer to machine the components to meet the required standards. These are two very typical tasks that we handle with our Easy Laser”
Send us your damage report or turbine type and we will respond within one working day with an assessment and indicative quote.
