Flange Milling

Precision At Scale.

Welding heat can twist and bend large flanges, sometimes leaving flatness outside tolerance – just as offshore structures grow larger and tolerances tighten. We machine the flange flat after welding, where the structure sits – a controlled, repeatable alternative to heat straightening, with no transport to a workshop.

Goliath, our proprietary CNC-controlled flange milling system, together with our mobile machining systems, covers monopile and transition piece flanges, tower section flanges, sea fastening systems, and support structures such as tower stands and transport frames – from fabrication facilities to shipping ports and installation vessels.

  • Fully CNC-controlled machining replaces heat straightening – in most cases faster, with much better achievable tolerances
  • Flange flatness delivered down to 0.21 mm global across multiple projects, well below industry requirements
