Trusted by wind operators and OEMs across Europe and North America
With the handheld ZEISS T-SCAN hawk 2, we capture metrology-grade 3D scans of your components directly on site. No transport to an inspection facility. No downtime waiting for a lab. The result is a precise digital model you can act on.
The scanner captures the component's exact geometry as a 3D model. We compare it against your CAD files to find wear, damage and deformation - or generate a new CAD model from the scan, reverse engineering for components where no drawings exist. The digital file feeds straight into our CAD system and can guide subsequent machining.
Before a repair, the scan documents the component's condition. After machining, it verifies the result against the CAD model and gives you a complete digital record. Used standalone or integrated with our on-site machining - the same partner from inspection to finished component.
The customer contacts CNC Onsite because documentation is required prior to an installation or quality assurance of a given component.
We pack our equipment and go on site to perform the measurement task.
We conduct the measurement work and deliver a measurement report to the customer.
The customer receives the measurement report and uses it as a basis for deciding on potential further work. If our measurement work has detected errors on the components that require additional machining, the customer can decide whether to react based on the report.
If the customer decides to take action based on the measurement report, we are ready to undertake the necessary machining of the components.
Send us your damage report or turbine type and we will respond within one working day with an assessment and indicative quote.
An engineer will get back to you within one working day.
No. The scanner is handheld and portable, so we capture accurate digital models of your components directly on site - eliminating the need to transport large or critical parts to an inspection facility.
Yes. We generate a CAD model from the scan - reverse engineering for components where no documentation exists. The file can be used for engineering evaluations, manufacturing or as-built documentation.
The lightweight handheld scanner works in confined spaces, at height, in wind turbine nacelles, on offshore installations, and in workshops and production facilities. It scans both small detailed features and large components.
We scan components before repair to document their condition, verify machined surfaces afterwards against the CAD model, and deliver a complete digital record of the repaired component. Scanning is also available as a standalone inspection service.
