How It Works

Restore Flange Flatness.
Wherever It Lives.

We machine industrial flanges directly on site, restoring sub-millimetre flatness on large production machinery. No transport to a workshop. No component replacement. The asset is repaired where it is installed.

Bring the machine to the flange

Flange connections sit on critical industrial assets - turbines, pumps, offshore equipment and large production machinery. Instead of dismantling and shipping the component, a mobile CNC flange milling system is set up on the asset itself. Controlled CNC machining restores the flange surface to the required tolerance, with flatness to OEM specification.

Built for large, immovable assets

  • Diameters up to Ø10,000 mm machined in place
  • Typical duration of 1 to 7 days on site
  • Applied across wind, marine and heavy industry, under ISO 9001 certification

Repair instead of replace

The traditional route means costly transportation, workshop handling or outright component replacement, and longer time before the equipment is back in operation. On-site machining restores the critical interface with an expected lifetime similar to the original, extending asset life and minimising waste. CNC Onsite has delivered work on five continents.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Can industrial flanges be machined without removing them?

Yes. CNC Onsite performs precision flange machining directly on site using a mobile CNC flange milling system. The asset stays where it is installed, so nothing has to be transported to a workshop.

How large a flange can be machined on site?

The mobile CNC flange milling system handles flange diameters up to 10,000 mm.

How long does on-site flange machining take?

Typical duration is 1 to 7 days on site. Machining directly on the asset eliminates transportation to a workshop and reduces the time required to restore critical equipment to operation.

What flatness tolerance can be achieved with on-site flange machining?

Flange surfaces are restored to OEM specification, with sub-millimetre flatness on large production machinery. The machining is CNC controlled and carried out under ISO 9001 certification.

Which industries use on-site flange machining?

Flange connections are found across wind, marine and heavy industry - from turbines and pumps to offshore equipment and large production machinery.
